我在/etc/profile 下的设置是
export JAVA_HOME=/usr/java/jdk1.5.0
export PATH=$JAVA_HOME/binPATH
CLASSPATH=.:/usr/java/jdk1.5.0/lib/tools.jar:/usr/java/jdk1.5.0/lib:/usr/java/jdk1.5.0/jre/libCLASSPATH
export CLASSPATH


我的eclipse版本是3.1M6版，jdk是1.5 我用root来登陆 运行eclipse
但是总是提示这样的错误
javac 和java 都能在终端找到的

哈哈~~ 搞定了，原来我在fat分区下解压了包，运行就会出错了~

说梦话，不管是swing还swt 程序都比win 下慢得多。。。

。。。 我算了一下，在win下启动eclipse要花一到两分钟，而在fc3下却用不到20秒，不知道eclipse是用java写的还是c/c++呢？或者别的？

我的感觉是差不多一样快(或者一样慢).

应该是一样快的，不一样的话可能是设置不同，以及项目的数量不同

删除configuration 下
org.eclipse.core.runtime  
org.eclipse.ui.ide
org.eclipse.osgi         
删除workspace 下的隐藏目录rm .* -fr
重启eclipse
./eclipse -clean&

在linux 下还是快一些地。
