There are several pages being existed and run in Linuxsir.org for a long while.  For example:

嵌入式Linux讨论区        
Ubuntu Linux 专题讨论 (Relatively new)
Linux 系统及网络安全讨论专版
Linux 企业级应用专题讨论

However, they are still branded "实验田版" or "本版试运行" etc

On the contrary, "Mini Linux 讨论专题" become a formal forum after it is combined into "Linux 发行版其他专题".

Under what criteria or how long is the test period should these "实验田版" upgrade to formal forums?

PS:Sorry to type in English, I'm poor in Chinese input method.

这几个版是咱们的弱项，尚未成熟，主要是人气也极为不足，因为的确是很重要的方面，所以我们必须把他放到一级版面，以期成长，但其现状还不足以作为成熟的正式版推出。

Ubuntu Linux 专题讨论按目前的速度发展到一定的规模，可能会做为正式讨论版提升到一级讨论区。

LinuxSir的版面开与关主要都是顺应大家的需求做不定期的调整，可以说是大家说了算。

"Ubuntu Linux 专题讨论" have been operating for a period of time but it is still branded as [试验田版] as of today.  In terms of users and 人气, it is miles ahead of "linux及计算机学科基础理论版" (which is a 一级讨论区).  I think the "Ubuntu Linux 专题讨论" page should be upgraded.

部分人认为，Ubuntu和Debian是一个发行版，尤其是Ubuntu的版主。但实践早已证明，Ubuntu与Debian的唯一相同在于，他们都使用了apt-get和dpkg，除此以外再无相同之处。

所以我们就要分出 Debian Sid 版
Debian stable 版
Debian testing 版


因为不同的 stable 也不能混用

所以也要分出

Debian Sarge 版
Debian Woody 版

也有不同针对特定要求的非官方源

使用不同的源的 Debian 可以有不小的差异


是不是也得分出 Debian ustc 版啥的

你省省吧，你连debian和ubuntu都分不清楚，虽然俺从来没有用过那两个什么破烂版本，但还是让俺教教你吧：通过俺脑子虚拟的实践，Ubuntu与Debian的唯一相同在于，他们都使用了apt-get和dpkg，除此以外再无相同之处

Debian的testing和stable只不过是同一发行版的不同release而已。从来也没有听说过有人会故意混用同一发行版不同release的仓库，这是个常识。

Ubuntu和Debian是两个不同的发行版，这个跟他们的包是否可以混用是没有关系的。现实情况是，包括Distrowatch在内的大多数媒体都认为Ubuntu和Debian是两个发行版。况且，Ubuntu的主页上一个Debian都没有提到，Debian的主页上也没有提到Ubuntu。

另外，非官方软件源与发行版毫无关系。
