笔记本上显卡问题请教

本人刚学Linux，在我的笔记本上装了Debian，可是不知道怎么了，我的kde总是不能将分辨率调整到1024*768。不知道是不是我的驱动没有装对还是怎么了。
我的硬件配置如下：
显卡：Inter 82852/82855 集成显卡
CPU：P4 M 1.8G
内存：512M
系统软件如下：
Kernel：2.6.11-1-686  （安装自SID）
XServer:xorg (安装自sid)

目前我的xorg.conf中配置如下：

用这个看看，我以前的液晶显示器改这个就OK。

我的笔记本是sxga+的，标准分辨率是1400x1050，我在debian下配置xfree86时分辨率只选择1600x1200（因为没有1400x1050选项），然后进gnome系统就自然调整成1400x1050了。所以我的建议是选择分辨率时只选择该笔记本能支持的最大分辨率或者更高一级，然wm自己调整。反正笔记本的液晶屏都是固定最大分辨率和刷新率的，也不会对硬件造成什么伤害。
