VE error

I installed eclipse 3.1.2 on fedora core 5. ..Then I downloaded the VE plugin along with EMF and GEF. All the plugins installed with no problem. But when I try to use VE, the VE java bean box is empty. This problem didn't happen when I use VE on windows. Did anyone have similar problems with VE on linux? Please help.

I downloaded eclipse 3.1.2 and replaced the native fedora eclipse in "/usr/share/eclipse". Then I installed the plugins again. everything works fine now.
