对。slackware里面没有这个东西。redhat 用xinetd替代了xinetd.
据说xinetd更安全一些。

slackware does not ship xinetd, it officially ships inetd, which is much simpler than xinetd

slackware里面用的是inetd，欲启动它，先 chmod +x /etc/rc.d/rc.inetd，则下次启动就会自动运行inetd

there're no rc0.d-rc6.d in slackware. to install vmware, you can create these directories manually. then vmware will add some scripts into some of these directories. you can move the scripts to /etc/rc.d and delete rc0.d-rc6.d after that.
