内核升级的问题

按照２．４升２．６的方法，我试着升级但在安装ＲＰＭ包mkinitrd-3.5.15.1-2.i386.rpm出现了问题了：
error: Failed dependencies:
        lvm2 is needed by mkinitrd-3.5.15.1-2
说需要ＬＶＭ２的包，可我ＬＶＭ２的包已经安装完了呀！！！这是为什么呢！？

另外我想问一下，这几个包都是什么呀，有什么作用呢！？module-init-tools-3.0 当然，这个我也想问问是干什么的！

你的lvm2没装上。
提示和lvm1有冲突，试试用rpm -Uvh lvm2-2.00.08-2.i386.rpm 来安装

lvm2和lvm1这是两个不同的包，用rpm -U不行吧。

同意二楼所说的，LVM1和LVM2不是相同的包，所以不能够用参数U，说没装上，可我用rpm qa |grep lvm查找，可是找不到这个包的说呀，系统告诉我说这个包没有安装，这是为什么呢！？

你试试 rpm -ivh --replacefiles lvm2-2.00.08-2.i386.rpm 我一开始也是向你说的那样，后来用了这个命令之后，就全都ok了！
