I install scim-1.2.3 from sources, but It can not work. What is wrong? (LE 200

I am using a Mandriva LE 2005, now.
It's scim is conflicted with RealPlayer, so I decided to install (the scim) from sources.
The packages I have installed are: scim-1.2.3, scim-pinyin-0.5.0, scim-tables-0.5.1
Following the directions from http://www.scim-im.org/wiki/documentation, I changed my i18n into below:

Unfortunately, it do not work right. The "scim" process is in sleep status, and when I press "ctrl+space", nothing happens.
Who can tell me what is wrong?
