在我的KDE起动时,谈出对话框告知
Sound server informational message:
Error while initializing the sound driver:
can't set requested samplingrate (requested rate 44100, got rate 8000)
The sound server will continue, using the null output device.

而且我的声卡没有声音,声卡是CMI8738 PCI,以前在LINUX7.3下很好用,现在是8.0,我用版主教的SNDCONFIG配置说检测到声卡,但没有声音,
在KDE控制中心-声频服务器起动ARTS时,点击应用也出现谈出对话框告知

我的硬件配置是,BX440主板,128M内存,20G硬盘,装WIN2000和LINUX8.0,我现在正学LINUX,想知道是怎么回事,要重装吗?我的LINUX8是按照北南南北教的硬盘安装,汉化过,用的是REDHAT版主的 方法.盼回复,谢谢

咱们的机器配置差不多。我用的是BX98的主板。声卡也一样。我也在这台机器上安装过了。声卡能用。没有一点问题。
看一下xmms能不能用？最好在GNOME下测试一下。要为XMMS打个补丁。。
