IBM240Z笔记本安装Ubuntu5.04成功,但是进入GNOME图形界面只有640X480的分辨率,怎么都改不了,我把窗口管理器改成FVWM是可以上到1024X768的,我在网上查到很多人都出现这种情况,说5.04的XORG在安装时不能正确的写入

这两个参数,我就把我的240Z在SARGE下运行正确的XORG.CONF拷贝到5.04中,但还是不行,关键还是上面那两行,我把HORIZSYNC 注释掉,可以640480的分辨率进入,但是只要有HORIZSYNC就连640都进不去了,我曾经改成功过在输入用户名和密码的时候是1024的,但是进入GNOME后又还是640了,气得我抓狂... Sad
我怀疑是不是GNOME有什么地方要设置,640进去GNOME后在系统-屏幕分辨率里面只能看到640的选项,其他什么都没有,唉....
下面是我的XORG.CONF的内容,这个文件在SARGE下FVWM(GNOME我在SARGE下没装)是运行正常的

进入GNOME后系统-屏幕分辨率那里只有640*480的选项:"640进去GNOME后在系统-屏幕分辨率里面只能看到640的选项,其他什么都没有",即使我在XORG.CONF中还配置了1024*768,800*600等分辨率的MODE也不起作用,昨天整到3点多...我把那XORG.CONF改了无数次,在FVWM和GNOME中也切换了无数次....都不行,看网上外国的贴子中讨论这个问题的还比较多,不过也没提出什么解决办法,只有篇提到H,VSYNC那两个参数的还有点用
然后按网上查到的资料执行下面的命令
dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg重新配置生成的XORG和上面一样,失败,
xresprobe siliconmotion (我的显卡驱动)出现的配置是1024*768的,屏幕是LCD的
然后运行 gtf 1024 768 60 出现的MODELINE行也加进XORG.CONF中了,也不行,然后运行 xvidtune 来调节也不行,本来在GNOME中就是640的了,升不上去,执行xrandr 列出的也只有640,不象在SARGE下还列出配置好的800,640,1024等分辨率,然后运行xorgconfig在字符界面下配置也不成功,想原来在REDHAT下这是终极手段了,一般都成功的,但是这次也失败咯...
