为什么我的电脑里vmware虚拟机OpenGL的速度反而比真实机还快？

两个都是Linux。都是显示在实际机器上的。
VMware上--Vector Linux 5.0：
>glxgears
4627 frames in 5.0 seconds = 925.400 FPS
4976 frames in 5.0 seconds = 995.200 FPS
5103 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1020.600 FPS
5039 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1007.800 FPS
5102 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1020.400 FPS
5160 frames in 5.0 seconds = 1032.000 FPS
而实际的机器的LInux系统却是--Slackware10.2：
>glxgears
3009 frames in 5.0 seconds = 601.800 FPS
3659 frames in 5.0 seconds = 731.800 FPS
3670 frames in 5.0 seconds = 734.000 FPS
3659 frames in 5.0 seconds = 731.800 FPS
3649 frames in 5.0 seconds = 729.800 FPS
3487 frames in 5.0 seconds = 697.400 FPS
3652 frames in 5.0 seconds = 730.400 FPS
3630 frames in 5.0 seconds = 726.000 FPS
真是郁闷哪！

机器配置：
P4 2.4G upto 2.53G
1G DDR333
80G HDD
Nvidia MX440 64M
1280*1024

想不明白，为什么VM里面会更快？

测试的时候把不需要的程序关了，NV18的卡不肯能这么低的。
