装N卡的驱动的问题 大家一定很熟悉了

以前在2.6.18的时候装驱动就不成功  有很多状况了
现在升级到2.6.20.1了  再次安装  还是有问题

在官方下载了NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-7185-pkg1.run 和 NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-9631-pkg1.run
selinux 也关了  在init3下 装的过程中再次失败

-> Performing rivafb check.
-> Performing nvidiafb check.
ERROR: Your kernel was configured to include nvidiafb support!
      
       The nvidiafb driver conflicts with the NVIDIA driver, please
       reconfigure your kernel and *disable* nvidiafb support, then
       try installing the NVIDIA kernel module again.

貌似要重新编译内核？ 不知道这个设置在那里更改  

我把源代码放在 /usr/src/kernels/linux-2.6.20.1 里  在安装驱动的时候用--kernel-source-path 指向这个文件夹 可以吗？

不过我在查询的时候还是
rpm -qa |grep kernel
kernel-headers-2.6.18-1.2798.fc6
kernel-2.6.18-1.2798.fc6
不知道和这个有关联吗？

内核是2.6.20.1的
uname -a

我不想用yum安装
yum.conf被我改的一塌糊涂 暂时用不上了

先检查当前内核（/boot/config-xxxxx）里的 nvidiafb 支持，若然真的选上了就打它去掉再重新编译内核吧

找到
CONFIG_FB_NVIDIA=y
CONFIG_FB_NVIDIA_I2C=y
这两个 先试试吧

结果
7185  最高只有800*600
9631 一堆warning  还好分辨率可调了  齿轮滚动也快了
这样算好了吧
