Font Error in Konsole

Strange error in Konsole. When the font is set to "console" -- the default font. Only boxes are displayed as in the picture attached.

Sorry chinese input is still not working in my computer. So I can only use English.

Sorry, the font was set to "fixed", not "Console".

why not try changing the fonts

Yes, Changing font can solve the problem. I am just curious why all characters change to boxes.
