如何开启硬盘DMA支持？

我的也是
setting using_dma to 1 (on)
setting xfermode to 68 (UltraDMA mode4)
到这时候就不能动了！
我用的是rh9.0 (附上我的rc.local)

我的系统里没有这个文件。怎么办？能不能自己新建一个？

我刚刚在自己的机器上试过了：
$/sbin/hdparm -X70 /dev/hda
/dev/hda:
setting xfermode to 70 (UltraDMA mode6)

偶的配制：
maxtor 金钻9 80G 2M
intel815ept
CIII1G
redhat 9
