2440板子挂U盘提示mount: mounting /dev/sda1 on /mnt failed: No such file or dir

内核使用的是2.6.22.6,板子是友善的mini2440,把配置编译好的内核下载到板子之后，我的操作和输出如下：
插入U盘之前：
/ # cat /proc/partitions

感觉U盘已经识别出来了，就是挂接不上，请高手们指点下，可能的问题会出现在哪？ 谢谢！
（U盘是好的，在xp下可用，板子的usb接口也是好的，用别人的写好的内核可以挂接这个U盘。）
