在安装NVIDIA芯片的显卡驱动出现问题?

我按照兄弟以前的方法安装并修改了文件,但还是进不去xwindows,于是放弃一切修改,请大家看看那里错了。请帮忙注明。谢谢!


本电脑是奔4 -1.7g,显卡NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 32M   菲利普 107T显示器
我安装的是redhat 7.1 选server默认安装的,如有什么软件没装请指点,并告诉如何安装?

已经安装
如下
安装:[经quanlinking兄指教,make时是有先后顺序的,要先make NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-3123]
# tar zxvf NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-3123.tar.gz
# tar zxvf NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-3123.tar.gz
# cd NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-3123
# make
# cd NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-3123

如果卸载这两个文件重装怎么做?

应该是用make install的吧,你再看看readme,我刚装过,不会记错的。
你只要改XF86Config-4就行了。

我已经改了一下。。。试一下,如果有问题再跟帖。如果出现成功安装的字体,才算成功,如果没有make成功,就要把错误信息发上来。这才是解决问题的方法。。
