AC97声卡问题，无法安装

Driver & Application Installation/Removal Procedure For Avance AC'97 Codec:

Setup Driver/Application at first time:
---------------------------------------

Step 1. Before installing the Avance AC'97 Drivers & Applications, Press the
        [Cancel] button if Windows detect the PCI Multimedia Audio device.
         
Step 2. Insert the "Avance AC'97 Drivers & Applications" CD into the CD-ROM
        drive and run the setup.exe program to finish the installation.

Step 3. Click on [Next/OK/Go] to continue the procedure. If the Windows popup
        "Digital Signature Not Found" message, press [Yes] to continue the
        installation.
        
Step 4. Finally, select to restart the system and press [Finish] to complete
        the installation.  

        The system will reload the drivers and do some adjustments in the INF
        file if so required.

Update Driver/Application:
--------------------------

Step 1. Follow Step 2,3,4 described in [Setup at first time] above to complete
        the procedure.

Remove Driver/Application:
--------------------------

Step 1. Go to Start\Settings\Control Panel.

Step 2. Select [Add/Remove Programs] icon.

Step 3. Select "Avance AC'97 Drivers and Applications" and press [Change/Remove]
        button.

Step 4. Click on [Next/OK/Go] to finish the uninstallation.        

Step 5. At the end of the procedure, select to restart the system and press
        [Finish] to complete the uninstallation.

Run "Setup -s -f2<path\LogFile>"

Note: AVRack only works fine under WinNT 4.0 after installing
      Service Pick 3 or later.

    (Win98SE/WinMe/Win2000/WinXP/WinNT4).

A2.45 -
1.  First release for ALC201A.
2.  The driver only support the VID/DID/SVID/SID entry to meet the
    INF requirement for PCI devices for WHQL logo.
3.  The drivers in this package has passed logo for ALC201A.

我实在是不知道是INTEL，还是VIA，所以只好麻烦各位了。

看一下内核就知道了。。

我用redhat-config-soundcard作了配置，听音乐实在差。
命令copy如下
redhat-config-soundcard
sox: Unable to set audio speed to 44100 (set to 14791)

请问，是否需要用ALSA来驱它？

声卡是SIS7012 AC97声卡，
我刚才看着弄了ALSA的声音驱动，可是进入sound mixer，它说“无法打开音频设备”
然后我redhat-config-soundcard,它说
sox: Can't open output file '/dev/dsp': No such device

怎么办？！？！？！各位帮个忙！

我买的品牌电脑，我也不知道是VIA，还是INTEL的。

这是intel的，主板是用什么的？

执行sndconfig后，内容如下

之后我听到了声音样品，可是声音样品的速度很快，不是正常速度。手动配置时它让我选择 Intel I810 AC 97 Audio.听到的样品仍然是速度很快的那种。
我回到WIN XP看了一下系统的声卡资料，XP认为是Avance AC 97.
我现在该怎么作？？？

这样就能用了，然后给xmms打个补丁就行了。

不行，补丁我打过了，XMMS说要让我正确选择音频设备。

那就换XMMS的插件来试一下。
