显卡驱动问题,一个多星期了,实在是解决不了了,请老师帮忙

刚装的RH9,显卡驱动版本是5336,安装完后,修改XF86Config,重新启动电脑要进入XWINDOWS的时候就花屏,就nvidia-installer --uninstall,又安装了6106版驱动,修改XF86Config后还是进不了XWINDOWS,下面是我的XF86Config,不知道还需要修改哪里。 我以前在SIS735主板上很简单就搞定了,不知道为什么NF2主板这么复杂。

去掉这个试试? dri不是都已经#掉了么,这个有什么用?

不客气,老师可不敢当,我也是学习LINUX不久... 只是我前两天为了驱动我的NV显卡,也折腾了好长时间,共同探讨吧

你问问题的时候,最好把你的X SERVER错误信息帖出来,别人好帮你看是哪里的问题.. 没有记错应该是叫 /var/log/XF86.0.log 什么的吧

ps.可以的话最好把内核编译升级下

重新编译内核,在编译内核时不要选上nvidia显卡选项。2.4的内核选用低版本的nvidia驱动。看一看nvidia的readme文件。

按照EvanDP方法还是不行,上面XFree86.0.log就是修改完后的结果。没办法我又改了过来

不行还是编译下内核吧,我上次弄我的NV GF4 MX440 AGP8X也是怎么改都不行,最后升级了2.6内核自动就好了.
