没有问题啊。都差不多，就是rh，mdk等做得简单些罢了。slackware现在也很简单了。

只是gnome下的字体没有其它的好看。我不用kde的。

其实，是很好汉化的！
而且，速度也很快，这个才是关键，另外，标准，兼容性好。

最经不论是redhat or mandrake 都在主流的桌面市场慢慢放弃
只有这个历史最悠久，有10年历史的版本，才越来越感到值得
一用。

汉化并不是最关键的，可以读可以输入就基本可以了。

这倒没错，但说到中文化可能不是最差的也差不多，
要是自己汉化(美化)，这几乎与发行版没关系。

So I am going to post how to build a SCIM package under Slackware.

download the following sources code and save them into the same dir.

scim-0.8.1.tar.gz
scim-tables-0.3.0.tar.gz

change to root user
type umask to make sure your umask is set to 0022
type chmod u+x SlackBuild.*
type ./SlackBuild.scim to build scim
the package will be in /tmp/scim-0.8.1-i486-1.tgz
type installpkg /tmp/scim-0.8.1-i486-1.tgz
type ./SlackBuild.scim-tables
type installpkg /tmp/scim-tables-0.3.0-i486-2.tgz
