如何在RedHat Linux8下面安装Oracle 9i![原创]

4,5楼的兄台,mkdir /<AnotherFilesystem>/tmp的意思是在一个你觉得方便的主目录下(你也可以自己建立,如: /Ilike )下建立一个名字为tmp的文件夹(如:/IIike/tmp).

我安装的时候为什么还是出现小方框??
用英文安装的时候没有问题,但是安装后创建数据库的时候却还是出现小方框,我认为是不是Rh8.0不支持:export LC_ALL="zh_CN"呀?

安装完后，也可以将oracle用户的主目录里加上
LANG=en_US
LANGUAGE=en_US
这样也可正常显示。
我觉得可能不是这样，这应该是jre的问题。
我昨天试着加了字体还是不行。
真是奇怪，只有加上面的那两个东东。

I'm sorry .My linux is English charset in Oracle user.So,I can't input Chinese.
Now,I have installed Oracle9i successful.
But,I can't "startup" it.And it warned me when I entered the 'sqlplus'  to input username(I input "system") and input password(I input "manager"). But it's warn too:
" Error:
  ORA-01034:ORACLE not acailable
  ORA-27101:shared memory realm does not exist
  Linux Error:2: No such file or directory.
"
I don't know what's wrong I did?
Please help me !

提示共共享内存不够？
你的交换分区有多大？tmp有多大？
还有，就是那个几个参数的设定。
即用echo > /proc
的那个几个在启动数据库之前再来一次，有可能是内存信号灯的问题。

另外:
cpu 1.3
memory: 256
按照楼主的方式设定了,安装的过程使用top tool 查看,swap空间还有很多啊
Mem: 254312K 251000 K used 3384 free
Swap:1422064K 41148 K used, 1380076K free.

有必要将交换空间设的这样大吗?

还是将swap高设得大一点好。要不然。说不定有什么事发生呢。
我原来就是用500M的swap，真是烦死了。
不过，最近我把oracle给弄出硬盘了，实在是不想装这个特大号的家伙。

然后出现图形安装界面,我点installed products时,出现一个对话框,说没有可安装的products,我关闭后,点next,让你选择安装的目录,我选择的/opt/orcale,点OK,下面他让你输入UNIX GROUP NAME :我怎么输入都不行,他提示一下错误:
certain actions need to be peformed with root privileges before the install can continue .
these actions are stored in a bourne shell script called /tmp/orainstRoot.sh. please execute the /tmp/orainstRoot.sh script now from another window and then press "continue' to continue the install.我按了CONTINUE按钮后,他提示一下错误
the oracle universal installer inventory on this system does not exist or now writable .the postible causes are :
1 the /tmp/orainstRoot.sh script was not executed whith root priveleges.or an error occurred during execution
2 you are not a member of the specified installer group .
为什么呢?

注意要以用户oracle的身份来安装的。
而且相应的安装的地方要属于这个用户的。
