我正在整理hyoga兄翻译的部分。看来hyoga兄的英文理解能力并不差。主要是在中文表达上需要多推敲一下。

我刚看了一下XI，应该比preface容易一些。既然fld兄这么给面子，那我就硬着头皮做下去了。

是啊，我觉得kyoga兄英文是不错的，中文嘛，只要翻了之后再读一读，就知道需要改进表达的地方了。

As with most libraries, there is no configuration to do, save that the library directory i.e. /usr/lib or /usr/local/lib should appear in /etc/ld.so.conf so that ldd can find the shared libraries. After checking that this is the case, /sbin/ldconfig should be run whilst logged in as root.

这句我翻了一半,后面一半不知道怎么说.

大多数的配置文件没什么好配置的, 确保一些库目录,例如. /usr/lib 或者 /usr/local/lib 在/etc/ld.so.conf里, 这样 ldd可以找到共享库. After checking that this is the case, /sbin/ldconfig should be run whilst logged in as root.

可以考虑这样翻译：
就象绝大多数的库文件不需要配置，只需要保证库文件的路径（即：/usr/lib或/usr/local/lib）出现在/etc/ld.so.conf中，以便ldd能够找到共享库文件。在核查情况确实是这样后，以root身份执行/sbin/ldconfig。
