need help about pcmcia

hi

i am using slackware9.1 on ibm thinkpad r30, and have a netgear MA521 wireless card(realtek 8081 chipset)

i am sure i enabled pcmcia service on boot, but pc card's power light dosen't bright, and i had checked kernel config, there has pcmcia support
btw,the system is new install and no recomplie kernel

but, when i boot from a slax 4.1.1 cd, the power light is on,!
btw i did try many 2.4 kernel based linux such like fedora1 rh9 and this slackware9.1, the pc card never wake up, only can bright in fedora2 test and gentoo ?!

with 2.4 kernel i only found slax 4.1.1 can do




so... how can i do in my Slackware 9.1 to wakeup my pc card like slax ?

slackware好象有针对pcmcia的内核，你有没有选用？

pcmcia-cs-3.2.7-i486这个包安装了吧？还有，你在装系统时，选了哪个内核？若你选安装时用的内核，可能是bare.i那个，可能没有pcmcia的支持。你自己看看吧，记得以前我用pcmcia的modem时，没问题的。

kernel : bareacpi
maybe the problem from kernel, will try 2.4.26
