NFORCES2  集成生卡装了NFORCE驱动     但声卡还是不能用  提示不能打开 /dev/sound/mixer

用modprobe nvsound.ko提示找不到模块   模块在/lib/modules/2.6.10/kernel/sound/oss目录下
在modprobe.conf中加入alias sound-slot-0 nvsound.ko  ，reboot  点击调节声音显示无法打开/dev/sound/mixer  升级2.6内核后USB  驱动也无法加载  在2.4内核下都是正常的
可不可以把2.4的模块加载进2.6。。。。。

换用内核中的ALSA驱动吧。我也是这个芯片组的板子，官方网站下的声卡驱动，编译安装啥的都挺正常，就是没声，可能是设备文件的问题。再看看官方提供的是面临淘汰的OSS的驱动，就没兴趣深究下去了。用内核的驱动了事

不知道  can't open mixer  device  /dev/sound/mixer 是指什么问题

有些nForce2的板子声卡部份用的不是NV的，而是用的第三方的芯片。
我的ASUS K7N-8X用的是ALC650F（据说不是NV的，我也搞不清），在网上查了查，最后还是用ALSA解决了问题。楼主的好像和我的是一样的，建议去看看ALSA官方网站http://alsa-project.org/alsa-doc ... amp;module=intel8x0

2.4内核  只要加载i810-sudio驱动模块 就能驱动声卡 我想不是声卡驱动模块的事情吧
重新编译下内核 试试   2.4升级到2.6内核 有很多问题    USB  声卡都有问题    都要自己改动配置文件

好像有自动刷新模块依赖关系的软件,忘了是哪一个,一般是系统自带的

alsa的驱动有个配置工具的，好象叫 alsa-conf   alsa-util 之类，我自己编译的内核也是跑了这个工具自动配置了一下才好的
