Functionality:
PL-2313 is software that operates as a bridge between one USB port
and two serial ports. The serial ports could adapt with various serial
interfaces: synchronous, asynchronous, standard RS-232, and any of
the Japanese manufactured mobile phones. The supported systems
include PDC, PHS-NTT, PHS-DDI, DoPa, IMODE, CDMA-one,
WCDMA, and CDMA2000.
Two large on-chip buffers of each port can accommodate full-duplex
data flow more than 1Mbps on each stream. The USB bulk-type data
is adopted for maximum data transfer. Automatic handshake is
supported at the Serial port, a much higher baud rate can be achieved
than the legacy serial controller. This device is compliant with the
power management and remote wakeup schemes of USB and the
Japanese handy phones. Only minimum power is consumed from the
host during Suspend. When there is any network activity detected by
either of the adapter or the mobile phone the system becomes
activated.

我碰到的是和PHS手机（小灵通）通讯的数据线，比如“小灵猫”用该芯片。
