去NVIDIA官方下了个NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-9746-pkg1.run

大意好像是说内核与显卡驱动不匹配.
我的内核为:2.6.18.2-34-default i686
显卡芯片为GeForce 4 Ti 4400
我是在虚拟机下装的openSUSE 10.2

兄弟的显卡和我的一样，不被最新的的驱动支持，我的是4200的：

目前NVIDIA最新支持这个显卡的驱动是9631,重新下载吧，不要以为最新的就是最好的，没用的。当然，你如果想用NVIDIA-7184D在KERNEL-2.6.20以上内核上，可看我的帖子：

上面的兄弟，提示是NV的安装程序要自己编译模块，可能找不到内核源和X的SDK，这两个你没装吧，简单的解决办法，找个新的kernel（比如2.6.20），然后重新编译

你用的是什么虚拟机？完全虚拟化的vmware、virtualbox、qemu等都是有虚拟显卡的，不是你的物理显卡。
半虚拟化的xen才是物理显卡，不能用最新的驱动，驱动的readme有讲的。

我重装成了FC6,还是装不了显卡驱动.....正郁闷呢.....现在才知道是虚拟机的问题....
我用的是完全汉化的vmware

也不看看是什么显卡。。。。虚拟机的是NIDIA的显卡嘛？

俺也是TI4400卡，已经在SUSE10.2中安装了驱动。在线安装的，只是需要扩展原来的内核。N卡的驱动相当好，比老子以前用的A卡驱动好很多，控制面板也不错。
