Linux对哪些SATA RAID控制器支持的比较好呢

  一个基于B/S模式的国库集中支付试点项目。数据库是安装在一台跑Win2003的Oracle 10G,这暂时不去动它。应用服务是使用J2EE开发出来的,这就有条件摆脱微软的限制了。已经说服了一把手,同意尝试使用开源软件,初步打算用Debian。
  考虑到国库支付局的统管会计人数,加上各乡镇财政所,最大并发联接不会超过50个。由于应用服务器和数据库是分离的,因此考虑使用SATA硬盘跑RAID 0模式就够了。
  现在的问题是Linux对哪些SATA RAID芯片支持的比较彻底,好根据这一信息,确定具体的PC服务器型号,报采购中心。

本人没经验,想到的:看一下内核支持那阵列卡,选个内核支持的。

NVidia /intel /ATi /Via 的BIOS RAID支持都是完美的
RAID卡里 LSI Logic MegaRAID Driver 支持好些

NVidia /intel /ATi /Via 的BIOS RAID支持都是完美的
RAID卡里 LSI Logic MegaRAID Driver 支持好些



别的不说 对intel和LSI的 megaraid支持相当的糟糕。
应该说linux对fakeraid的支持都很糟糕
建议用硬raid卡
不要相信bios raid和便宜的sata raid卡,都是fakeraid的

使用硬RAID卡最好不要用RAID 0最好用RAID 1可以避免重装系统

NV的C61和MPC78我就在用。ATI的R780/R790/R800的也有在用的。觉对不比硬RAID差。
