kernel-boot内核与kernel内核

我的rh9安装后不能上网
我只好装了kernel-boot内核，就可以上网了，这个是为什么呢(局域网网卡上网)

但是kernel-boot是一个受限内核，这样可能会产生一些问题，可是会他们到底有什么差异呢。我只能看到kernel-boot是kernel的一半大

我现在把两个都装上了，但是是不是kernel-boot会覆盖掉kernel呢?

that is the kernel used for booting installtion disk. may had better hardware detection support. i believe u can recompile u rh kernel to get a networkable one base on that -boot kernel.

if they are same version number, then module part will be overwriten. but kernel image should not.

我用的网卡是Legend/D-link DFE-530TK PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter (Rev B)
是不是因为我的网卡驱动kernel没有，而kernel-boot有?

lsmod find which module it uses for u nic
recompile u kernel to add  this module
