slack为什么新编译安装的2.6内核反而不如原有的2.4内核快？

感觉原有的2.4内核运行程序很快。在firefox下开好几个窗口，同时每个窗口浏览很多图片一点滞顿感都没有，反观2.6内核，虽量身裁体，编译优化，但安装后却感觉速度很慢。

我也试过，启动一点也不快。
只有一个明显的，就是鼠标移动速度快了。
快的让我感觉游离不定，一点也不习惯。
现在乖乖的用自带的内核。

Perhaps you don't open the DMA option on the chips in menuconfig.
Some time back, I face the same problem.
After checking the menuconfig, I found the DMA option on via chips
was not be selected.

呵呵，只是要2.6的功能，而且默认编译是对应P4的，CPU不对会对性能造成一些影响

2.6好象要手动加载mod进内核：）
另外，好象2.6并非针对个人用户，所以慢一点不足为奇
感觉就是加了些高端应用，改写了部分代码
